Bosnia and Herzegovina
Ilma Ajanovic is a marketing manager and chief editor of Prizma, a financial magazine. She wishes to study journalism and editing.

Benin
Michee Casimir Boko works for Inter Press Service news agency. He wants to study investigative journalism.

India
Mohammed Basheer is a principal correspondent for The Hindu. He wants to study how media can benefit farmers and the rural poor.

Montenegro
Milena Djurdjic is a news editor of TV Montenegro. She wants to study television and radio.

Brazil
Ana Luiza de Oliveira Farias is a publications manager of a City Hall communications department for the city of Belo Horizonte. She wishes to study an American City Hall press office.

Afghanistan
Ghafoor Lewal is a spokesman for the Constitutional Commission. He wishes to study ways in which the media can promote human rights.

Zimbabwe
Reyhana Masters-Smith is director of a new news magazine exploring violence against women in Sierra Leone. In addition, she is conducting media research on media law in Zimbabwe for the State University of New York, and on violence against media for the Media Foundation for West Africa. She wishes to study U.S. media law press freedom.

Morocco
Mohammed Matrane is a press attache to the provincial coordinator of the local chapter of UNICEF. He wants to study new media technologies for communications and national development.

Kenya
Ashina Kibibi Mweni is a director, producer and scriptwriter for an independent television production company. She wants to study television drama production.

Hungary
Sandor Orban is director of the Center for Independent Journalism training institute in Budapest. He wants to study journalism education and minority issues.

Nepal
Rajendra Sharma is deputy executive producer for Radio Nepal. He wants to study public radio and development.
