ASSESSMENT VALUES
ANNAPOLIS - As residential property values increase across the state, real estate sales prices are dropping, leading to a situation where buyers who can afford houses of a certain price may be surprised by the property taxes. Some regions of the state have been more affected than others, with the Eastern Shore and Western Maryland feeling the crunch less than central regions. Slug: CNS-Assessment Values. About 1,150 words. With assessment values by county and sales figures by county in charts available upon request.
