The Scripps Howard Foundation Fellowship at Maryland

A Great Journalism Partnership: Scripps Howard Foundation, Maryland and You

Outstanding journalists interested in a career in journalism education and research are encouraged to apply for the Scripps Howard Foundation Fellowship in the doctoral program at the University of Maryland's Philip Merrill College of Journalism.

The selected fellow will enroll in the College's Ph.D. program in journalism and public communication and will receive full tuition remission and a $30,000 annual stipend for three years.

The successful applicant will have an exemplary career in print or broadcast journalism and a passion for entering a career in journalism education.
