Jobs & Internships

Joining the ranks of media leaders across the globe, Philip Merrill journalism students have landed internships at such prestigious media outlets as Newsweek, Good Morning America and USA Today.

Students are encouraged to seek out as many internship opportunities as possible during their undergraduate experience either as volunteers, for academic credit, as part-time paying jobs or as a combination of these experiences. Within our curriculum, students may apply a maximum of three journalism internship credits toward their degrees.

Information about internships and job opportunities is posted regularly on the College's internship and jobs pages. Job listings are also sent out on student listservs and can be found on the third floor bulletin board and in room 3116 of the Journalism Building.
